Rupert Detheridge, Chartered Surveyor
Falque Land and Property, Worcester
Originally from Gloucestershire Rupert is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with twenty plus years post qualification experience in consultancy, agency and regeneration. Based in Worcestershire Rupert launched Falque Land & Property Ltd in the Summer of 2021.
Prior to becoming a Chartered Surveyor Rupert was a Professional Archaeologist, having obtained a BA in Archaeology and Ancient History from Cardiff University and a MA in Archaeological Practice from the University of Birmingham. He worked extensively in England and Wales and was fortunate to work as an archaeologist in Ireland, Bahrain and Sudan.
Rupert re-trained by means of completing an MSc in ‘Land Management’ at The University of Reading, and subsequently worked for Storey Sons & Parker in Newcastle upon Tyne where he qualified and obtained strong experience in agency, valuation and Landlord & Tenant work.
Rupert moved back to the Midlands in 2004, and subsequently worked for Midlands based National Surveying Practices (CBRE, Bruton Knowles, Lambert Smith Hampton) and the Public Sector, and is known for his skills in viability and land agency
Rupert has a thorough understanding of the development process and market. He provides wide ranging reliable advice, often regarding complex instructions which require significant strategic thinking. Rupert is a personable professional, who is determined and a strategic thinker.
Outside of work Rupert finds himself spending time with his two children, and enjoys fly fishing, rock climbing and walking. He retains a strong interest in history and archaeology.
