Significant experience in acquiring land on behalf of clients throughout my surveying career. This involves establishing a price threshold, acquisition strategy, and subsequently negotiating terms with vendors and assisting in the legal aspects of the acquisition.

Early in my career this was dominated by supermarket land acquisition, acquiring several sites for the discounter Netto in the North-East and subsequently assisting in complex land assembly for Tesco Food stores in the West Midlands.

 

I have acquired land for the public sector for operational and investment purposes. An example of such was assisting South Kesteven DC to acquire strategic employment land within its District.
